Went to a motor show on saturday.
Well kind of. Eastbournes idea of a motor show is all the local car dealers park their new cars on a field and people like me pay 2.50 to come and look at them.
There were some nice cars there too (never thought id find myself writing that...!)
They had this gorgeous BMW E65 745i with the biggest alloy wheels I have ever seen on a saloon car. It had a AC Schnitzer body kit too and looked great.
It was slightly hotter than I thought it would be on saturday so i'm a nice crimson colour at the moment.. :)
I spent the rest of the weekend trying to finish off this hands on lab and I can see the home strait...
For the next few weeks, i'm working on the solution design for a Win2003/Exchange2003 migration for a major retail store in London.
They currently have about 9 NT4 domains. After working with 2000 and 2003 for so long now, its amazing how much better they actually are than NT4.
Next up is Longhorn with the purported WinFS relational file system. Cant wait ;)

I'll think real hard for next time ;)
But.. I did manage to come up with my solution vision for this Hands on Lab.. Hoorah!

#2 Do you believe in god
Always controversial...
No I dont. There is no conclusive proof that the bloke (or indeed woman) upstairs actually exists.
That said, I sometimes wish i did...
The idea that when i die, there will be another place that I go to where everyone loves me is much better than the idea that you just die and thats it... wormfood!
Hmm.. food for thought.

The Friday Five never materialised again...
Sorry ;)
Lets start with #1
What do you do?
Well i do lots of things.. I train monkeys to tap dance, make suits out of fish skins..
No seriously now..
I work as a Technologist
Whats a technologist i hear you asking..?
Well it basically means that I write/talk/sing/dance/mime (delete as appropriate) about leading edge technology
This can be anything from doing a presentation on the latest and greatest version of windows to writing a series of publications on implementing enterprise class servers to giving the keynote presentation at a conference in front of 10000 people..
I havent been doing it long so watch this space...
